Steve has left the building

I knew from the first moment I met Steve Leard at Cardiff Design Festival 07’s Portfolio Clinic, that he was the kind of creative that I wanted to work with at Black Sheep and I wasn’t disappointed. It’s been a real joy to see how well he’s developed during his time at Black Sheep. From junior, who didn’t know is Spot from CMYK, to fully fledged, professional, creative thinker, producing creative concepts of the highest calibre. I’ve certainly valued the passion he demonstrated and brought to his work at Black Sheep. So thank you for all of your efforts over the past 18 months.

Obviously, I’m disappointed to see him go, but I always knew the day would come, when he felt it was time to move. I did hope it wouldn’t have been so soon though. However, delighted for him. It’s never an easy decision to make, as moving on is brave and requires you utilise all of your skills to re-establish yourself in a new environment. Unfortunately for us, our loss is another companies gain.

I’m certain that your future is a very bright one and will watch your progress keenly.

You can too, by following him at http://www.leard.co.uk/ or his design blog DesignYak.

Bye for now!
